As a way of assisting commercial and industrial businesses locating in our service
area, Tri-County Electric offers the Enhanced Security Deposit Program.
Tri-County Electric will waive the required deposit for any business
approved in the program (which can save the business several hundred
dollars).
In order to be submitted for approval, the business owner (or designee) will need to
fill out the ESD application form and provide one banking and one trade
reference. Once submitted, the approval process is generally completed
in less than two weeks. The business will be required to pay the
deposit if the meter needs to be set prior to receiving approval. This
deposit will be refunded when the application has been approved.
